Better late than never right? I must admit Darksiders on the Xbox 360 is a wonderful game. It does steal most of its gameplay ideas from God of War, Zelda, and Portal, but it does so in a fashion that you can get past the creative thievery and really enjoy the game.
True to fashion I just finished my first go through this past weekend, which is quite some time after the game’s initial release, but like I’ve been saying, “I’ve re-arranged my life to be your Entertainment Buddha!” I won’t go into a full review, but I do highly recommend picking this game up.
It’s full of fun and obtainable cheves, the story is actually semi-engaging, and the gameplay, although [slider title=”ganked”]Ganked – To steal, hijack, creatively borrow. Can be used as a noun as in a person. It can also be used as a verb as in, “Hank is ganking that dudes kill.”[/slider] from other established titles, is still well implemented. It should give you at least 20 hours of gameplay on your first run through, and there is replay potential to clean up on some gamerscore.
With that being said the PC contingent will be getting a go at Darksiders this June. Those poor bastards always have to wait on console games to get ported. To each his own, as long as you’re a gamer you’re cool with The Entertainment Buddha. I hope you PC guys and gals find Darksiders as entertaining as I did. Don’t forget to pick up your copy today!
