Darth Plagueis Novel Gets a Trailer but it’s Just Lame Prequel Footage

I’ve never been a Star Wars fan to delve too deeply into the Expanded Universe of novels and comics, but every once in awhile I like to read up on the happenings in the Star Wars Universe that aren’t created by Lucas himself.  There’s a new novel coming out from James Luceno (author of “Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader“), which will take an in-depth look at Palpatine’s rise to infamy with his former Master Darth Plagueis the Wise.  This Sith prequel book is called “Star Wars: Darth Plagueis“, and it is available now to read.  It will tell the tale of Palpatine and his former Master, and how they planned on dominating the Galaxy together until Palpy went all Sith Apprentice on him and killed him in his sleep.

A trailer for the book has been released, which features the dialogue from the scene in ROTS where Palpster tells the tale of Plagueis to Anakin set to various clips from the prequel era.  If you feel like hating Star Wars again go ahead and watch the Plagueis trailer below!  If you want to actually read the book you can purchase it here.  You’ve been mostly happy with the Star Wars EU novels that you’ve read, because they aren’t made by George Lucas…
