Dave Filoni Shares Storyboard Sketches of Ahsoka Tano’s Origins

One of the more interesting panels at this year’s Star Wars Celebration featured Dave Filoni and Pablo Hernandez talking about the origins of some of the more iconic animated Star Wars characters from The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. One of the segments featured the origins of Ahsoka Tano, who at one point in time was named Ashla. Filoni and Hernandez shared multiple sketches of the character that spanned her origins through her final appearance in Star Wars Rebels, which you can check out below.

The images come from Filoni’s sketches, as well as his team’s work on his and George’s ideas, so head on down below to see how Ahsoka evolved from concept to icon.

And if I were a betting man I’m pretty sure she’ll come back in Rebels Season 4 based on how Filoni and Hernandez reacted at the panel.
