Dave Matthews Band Summer Tour 2010

I got my DMB fix of the year by attending their show at Huntington Park in the CBUS.  First off, Huntington Park is a wonderful venue, especially for a concert.  For the first time it paid to be in the general admission section.  You could literally get as close to the stage as you wanted to depending on how many people you wanted to get in a shoving match with.  I was impressed by this venue to say the least, and I’d recommend it to anyone for watching a concert.

Outside the awesome venue the DMB put on a fantastic show.  When they opened with the rarely played “Big Eyed Fish” and then rolled into “Bartender”, I knew it was going to be a magical evening.  They put on one of the best shows I’ve been at in years.  The set list was a great mix of old and new with most of the classics getting played.  As usual Dave and company came through to entertain thousands of drunk and half-baked patrons to provide a great summer evening with friends, family, and strangers.

Hopefully the Dave Matthews Band will be making a stop at a venue near you.  They aren’t touring next year, so it feels like they’re amping up the 2010 tour to give fans a great show before they take some time off.  This is a group you must see live at least once in your life.  They’re truly one of the best live shows to ever entertain the masses.  You’ll always feel a little bit better about life after a night with the DMB.  Good times USA!  Check out the full set list below to see what you may hear this summer.  You’ve been jammed out…
