DC to Launch Two New Bat-books in October

In an exclusive announcement from Entertainment Weekly, DC will add two new on-going titles to the Batman family of titles this October when they launch Arkham Manor and Gotham Academy. Inside the pages of Arkham Manor, calamity commences when stately Wayne Manor is transformed into the new Arkham Asylum, which might spell certain doom for a few of its inmates.  Gotham Academy is slightly less gritty and dark than most other Bat-titles, and is a teen drama set at Gotham’s most prestigious prep school, of which Bruce Wayne is a benefactor.

Arkham Manor is written by Gerry Duggan with art by Shawn Crystal and launches on October 22nd. Gotham Academy is written by Becky Cloonan and Brendan Fletcher, drawn by Karl Kerschl, and begins October 1st.
