‘Destiny 2: Bad Ideas Bro’ Short Perfectly Lampoons an Issue With AAA Game Executives
Team mashed is back with another clever and funny animated video that lampoons the video game industry. This new video couldn’t be more timelier when you consider the whole Battlefront 2 debacle, because it tackles the problem gamers are seeing from large video game franchises in terms of their use of gimmicky marketing tricks to sell more copies of a game.
This video takes on Destiny 2, but the jokes could be applied to any major publisher’s game. It highlights the use of selling shitty food to kids for in-game content, as well as overpriced collector’s editions that are full of junk for multiple times the price of a game. The barbs are delivered smartly too, so it’s just an all-around well done parody of gaming’s money grabbing issue.
