Destiny 2 continues to pump out updates and new content for players to enjoy (though I don’t know if the playerbase has gone up or down since launch). This time around, we’ve got a developer diary where they discuss Exotic weapons and the Crucible, and the updates that they’ll be getting. You’ll be able to basically make Exotic weapons do whatever you want depending on which ones you get. You’ll be able to pick the abilities and stat boosts that they get and make the weapon that’s perfect for you (for killing people with). It seems like the kind of thing that really negates the special-ness of particular Exotic weapons though, but maybe that’s just me.

The second thing that they talked about was the Crucible and how players will finally have private matches.

To be fair I haven’t played the game since the Beta, I just assumed private matches were a normal thing to ship with a shooter. Especially coming from some of the people who work on the Halo series, it seemed like a no-brainer, but hey, what do I know? Check out the video above and let us know if you’re excited for either of these things or if you still actually play the game.

“Making you a better geek, one post at a time!”
