Deus Ex Documentary Celebrates Cybernetic History

With the impressive Deus Ex: Mankind Divided showing at E3 2015, the storied role-playing franchise has been thrust back into the gaming limelight.

In celebration of all things Deus Ex, publisher Square Enix and developer Eidos Montreal, have announced a new four-part documentary detailing the fifteen year history of the franchise.

The first episode, which is available on IGN, serves as an introduction to the franchise, starting the release of 2000’s Deus Ex.

As expected, the documentary episode is insightful and enjoyable, and goes a long way to show how innovative and influential the original Deus Ex really was.

Stay tuned for the other three episodes in the DX15 documentary series.
