Done With The Witcher 3? New DLC Says Otherwise

Marcin Marmot, Community Lead and Website Coordinator for CD Projekt RED, announced on Twitter that the last free DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released August 18th for consoles and PC.

New Game Plus (NG+) is the core of this DLC addition, masking the entire world in a different light for experienced players. Those who felt the game needed an extra oomph in difficulty will find pleasure in this new mode. As if the first playthrough wasn’t enough content, now players get to explore the world with a clean slate (again).

Obtaining the opportunity to see the different conclusions of decision-based events is enough to perk the ears of anyone who enjoyed The Witcher 3, especially with the challenging allure of NG+. Marmot iterates that NG+ will only be good for one playthrough – players who wish to play the mode again will have to begin with a completely new save file.

But now with effectively twice as much content, it seems like The Witcher 3 isn’t quite done with any of us yet.
