Doritos Drops Two Free Games on XBLA – Crash Course and Harm’s Way

Who doesn’t like free stuff, and what gamer doesn’t enjoy free games and cheves?  Similar to the Dino Dash game which came out a few years ago, Doritos is offering 2 free XBLA games for download.  I must give my gaming buddies (OneChild, Tenbensons, CartmanPrinqles, UltraInstinct) over in England credit for this find as I had no clue that these games were available for free.  Both of these can be found if you go to the Game Marketplace ->Game Content ->Arcade Games ->Newest.  From there you can download Doritos Crash Course and Harm’s Way.  Here’s some pics of what they look like just in case you are special in a bad way.

I must admit, even those these games are free and part of a promotion they are quite solid.  I found Crash Course to be particularly engaging and pretty addicting.  Imagine a game that is similar to Ninja Warrior and the TV show ‘Wipeout’.  That is basically the foundation of Crash Course, but they throw in leader boards which make the competition between friends very intense.  Plus, I love seeing my Avatar in his sweet new duds from Kinect Adventures and awesome flaming Mark V Spartan helmet.

Harm’s Way isn’t too bad either.  Imagine Mario-Kart Double Dash except your partner sits in a stationary turret system, which are scattered throughout the course.  One gamer drives while the other shoots the competition from the mountain tops.  Again, this game is quite addicting for a freebie and has a high production value.  Harm’s Way will also yield you close to 110 G just for playing one game as the shooter!

I highly suggest heading over to the Marketplace and grabbing these free games.  They aren’t shameless promos like Dino Dash, and actually provide some entertainment sans the investment.  I would imagine that you should be able to snag 400G between the two without much of a time investment.  What are you waiting for?  Plug in and download these XBLA games now!  You’ve been wishing more things in life were free…
