Droid 2 Hits Stores and R2-D2 Will be an Option

Motorola and Verizon announced the arrival of the Droid 2 yesterday, which should be available for pre-order online today, as well as in stores tomorrow.  The Droid 2 will boast the usual specs for this generation of Android based smartphones:  Mobile WiFi Hotspot, 8GB of memory, 8GB of removable memory, 3.7 in screen, DLNA, Android 2.2, and the slide out keyboard.  Best of all, in September you’ll be able to order the R2-D2 version of the Droid 2.  I don’t have any pics of the R2-D2 version, but there is a site up for it.  Check out R2 here and listen to him get his Droid on.  Lucas literally can wipe his ass with hundred dollar bills!  You’ve been trying to shove R2 in your pocket since 1977…
