HTC’s successor to the Verizon Droid Incredible was spotted in the wild last week, and quite honestly it’s the same phone as the 2010 model except for the fact that it’s bigger.  The Droid Incredible 2 will boats a 4″ screen with front and rear cameras, 768 MB of RAM, and a 1 Ghz processor.  I don’t think it’s going to have a dual-core chip, but don’t quote me on that.  If that is the case, then I’m definitely going to lean in another direction when it comes time to buy my 2011 smartphone.  I loved the original Incredible, but it’s big brother seems like too much of the same in a larger package.

My 2011 phone needs to have all of the bells and whistles that this generation of smartphones provide like: dual-core chips, mega-RAM, Hi-res screen, 4G, dual cameras, and the ability for it to wipe my a*s if I need it to.  Although, if you absoultely love your Incredible, but wish it were a little bigger, then the Incredible 2 may be right up your alley.  Take a gander at it, or watch the un-boxing of an HTC Incredible S (European for Incredible 2 or HD) below.  You’re ready to upgrade NOW…
