Dual Trailers Released for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Alongside New Screens

Ubisoft has been dropping new trailers and assets for its upcoming video games today in honor of Gamescom, and the first title to get shown off is Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Two cinematic trailers were released, although they’re essentially the same trailer. This is due to the fact that the game will let players choose which protagonist they want to use. Players can play as the de facto lead, who is Kassandra, or they can play as a male lead named Alexios.

The trailers play off this fact by including separate versions for each lead, but they’re mostly identical. There may be slight changes to visuals in each trailer, but for the most part they’re the same preview in terms of the major beats the trailer covers. If Ubisoft keeps this up the promotions for this game will get a bit expensive if two versions of each trailer, screenshot, etc needs made for each new look at the game. Oh well, I’m sure it’s being done for a reason, so head on down below to check out the two new trailers for Odyssey.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be available worldwide on October 5, 2018, on the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.
