Duct Tape Use #1001 – Star Wars Costumes

Duct tape has to be one of the most versatile products ever invented, because it can do anything from healing wounds (Trust me, talk to your friend in construction) to making Star Wars costumes.  Yes, you read that right, duct tape can make some pretty bada*s looking Star Wars outfits to wear at a geek themed convention.  I’ve seen other personal items created out of duct tape (Namely wallets and purses), but I’ve never seen a full-on outfit crafted out of God’s tape.  That was until I stumbled upon the picture below of two Star Wars geeks wearing costumes made out of duct tape.

Duct-A Fett and His Prisoner Princess Tape

These masters of the tape managed to make some pretty darn good Boba Fett and Slave Leia costumes out of the same material you may have used to keep a broken game controller from spilling its innards.  So what do you thik about these costumes on a budget?  Is there a new cosplay craze on the horizon, or are you too busy staring at a half nude fangirl wearing a duct tape bikini to give a rat’s a*s?  You’ve been thinking that tons of poor Star Wars fans are going to head out to their local hardware store and buy up its duct tape inventory…
