E3 Preview: Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations

During my time at E3, I was able to preview the latest entry into the Adventure Time universe, Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations. There are strange things going on in the Land of OOO and it is up to Jake and Finn to figure out why these mysterious events are taking place. Fans of Adventure Time will appreciate the game because will feature the original voice cast for Finn and Jake, which is always a big deal when a licensed game is being created. Each level will also feature title cards like those seen on the show.

Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations is a 3D adventure that will have fans of all ages excited to play the game. During my time with the game, it was great to see how Jake  and Finn are able to work together. Numerous times, Jake was shown transforming himself in order to assist Finn with difficult areas and moments, allowing him to progress. Additionally, the hilarious twosome will even come together to create the Jakesuit, which attentive Adventure Time fans will remember from early seasons of the show.

There was also a contest to create a character to be featured in the game. There was one fan in particular that created a character named Sonny and was given an extensive back story as well. Who knows, maybe Sonny will make an appearance on the show if the creators allow it. Sonny will be hidden throughout the game and there are achievements just for finding him.

It is great to see how involved Cartoon Network has been in creating a game that fans should and will be excited to play once it is released.  Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations will be released this November for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, Wii U, and PC.
