EA Details Incoming Star Wars Battlefront II Updates

The development team behind Star Wars Battlefront II has detailed a few future updates for the game, as well as providing an infographic (below) full of stats for The Last Jedi seasonal event that took place the past few weeks.

There are three planned updates so far for 2018, and they include more changes to the game’s progression system, a new game mode, and a new seasonal event like The Last Jedi affair. Unfortunately, the update that probably interests most gamers is lacking in any real concrete information, so if you’re looking for detailed changes coming to the game’s progression system, you won’t find them quite yet. A list of the planned updates is detailed below. Come March there should be much more information for the progression system changes, so stay tuned for those details.

Planned 2018 Updates for Star Wars Battlefront II

  • A revamped progression system – Player feedback has been essential here, and we are preparing significant changes to progression that will address many of the things we’ve seen players asking for. While we can’t go into too much detail right now, we’ll be sharing more details in March.
  • A game mode called Jetpack Cargo coming in February – Two teams of eight players equipped with jet packs compete in Jetpack Cargo, a frantic, fast-paced way to play. This mode will only be available for a limited time, so don’t miss it.
  • A new Season coming soon – We’ve learned a lot from the first season of content for Star Wars Battlefront II, and we’re integrating that learning into our plans moving forward. We know players are waiting for details on what’s coming in the next season, and we’ll have more to tell soon.
