EA Details Star Wars: Battlefront’s Drop Zone Mode

EA has dropped some new Star Wars: Battlefield news today, dishing the details on the game’s Drop Zone Mode.

As reported on EA’s Star Wars page, Drop Zone Mode functions similar to traditional “King of the Hill” gameplay, with a twist that could only be expected from a galaxy far, far away.

Drop Zone Mode has different Drop Pods hurtling towards the playable map, forcing the two teams of eight players to battle for control of the Pods.

Both the Rebel and Empire teams will be able to win a match by capturing and securing five different Drop Pods, or having the majority control after the ten-minute match finishes.
