Eclectic Method Tries to Fix Fergie’s Failed National Anthem

Singing the National Anthem can be a dangerous job as Fergie found out this past Sunday night when she tried to make the National Anthem sound sultry over just singing it as it is meant to be sung. It kinda had a Marilyn Monroe “Happy Birthday Mr. President” feel to it, which just didn’t work at all for pretty much everyone that heard her rendition. It was bad, real bad, but the Eclectic Method is here to try and save the day.

The YouTube mix masters autotuned and beat mashed Fergie’s version of the National Anthem to give it a new catchy beat, while also trying to make it tolerable. Thanks to the new beat I do think they achieved their goal, which was helped by having Fergie’s lyrics sound more like gibberish than lyrics. The beat helps for sure, so head on up above to give Fergie’s remixed National Anthem a listen.
