Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Footage Convinces Me to Get On Board

After watching all of the new footage for Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim during E3 this week, I think I’m ready for my first full foray into the Elder Scrolls Universe.  I dabbled with Oblivion, but it was during a time in my gaming career where I didn’t have the patience for such an open adventure.  In fact, it wasn’t until I played Fallout 3 that I realized I actually dig these epic adventures with a plot that offers both a main story, as well as a host of side missions to eat up hours upon hours of my time.

Dragons Will Play a Big Part in Skyrim

I’ve got too many games to play as it stands now, so I don’t envision myself downloading a copy of Oblivion and giving it another spin, but after watching some of the Skyrim footage below I think it’s going to earn a spot in my Fall 2011 gaming line up.  I think it looks amazing, and now that I know how to handle a game of this nature I totally expect myself to dig it in the same fashion as Bethesda’s Fallout 3.  If you haven’t seen this game in action yet I highly suggest you check out the E3 demo below.  You’ve been fantasized…
