Entertainment Buddha-cast NFL Special “No Punt Intended” Ep. 9

Last week, Justin and I both went 7-8 agains the spreads while Microsoft’s Cortana and Nate Silver’s ELO went 10-5. To be fair, Cortana and ELO are picking straight winners, not against the spread like real men.

We’ve come to the realization that Vegas knows more than us (and probably has control of everything revolved around gambling), especially when it came to the Packers/Saints game last week. Remember? The Saints were -1 at home against the surging Packers, and Lud and I couldn’t figure out why. Now we know better. At least we think do.

Week 9 gives us some prime division match-ups to look forward to (Saints/Panthers, Rams/49ers, Ravens/Steelers), and a dual between the 6-1 Cardinals and the 6-2 Cowboys. Oh yeah, there’s that whole Brady vs. Manning matchup too, but that will probably be boring because those guys are old. Sorry, I made myself laugh with that last statement.

Justin also gives us his critique of Pumpkin Spiced Oreos, because ’tis the season.
