Naughty Dog has revealed the second episode of their mini series: The Making of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
This time, the segment focuses on Uncharted’s rise to popularity, and what it’s been like for the development team to grow up with these characters.
According to lead programmer, Sandeep Shekar, “Most of us, when we started in this industry, we started in our early twenties. When we started, every hero and every character were in their early twenties. As we get older as developers, we make experiences that relate to us, and characters that relate to us.”
It’s definitely interesting to hear the developers explain how their professional/personal growth is shown throughout the series. This second episode delves deep into the creative process behind the franchise, and is most certainly worth the watch.
Nathan Drake gears up for his final adventure in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, set for release this upcoming May 10th on PS4.
