ET-X: Extinction Is Our Kind of E.T. Movie

I don’t know about you, but the original ‘E.T.’ scared the sh*t out of me as a kid.  I hated that stumpy brown alien with his malnourished frame and addiction for Reese’s Pieces the day I first watched the film.  Honestly, I never really got why ‘E.T.’ was considered a great flick, but the same can’t be said for ‘ET-X: Extinction’.  ‘ET-X’ is the unofficial sequel to Spielberg’s supposed masterpiece, but this time E.T.’s friends are bad mother f*ckers with fire flinging fingers and vampire fangs.

Obviously this exteneded trailer isn’t real, but it’s a wonderful mashup of other alien invasion films; plus they managed to crowbar in some footage of both Drew Barrymore and Henry Thomas to reprise their childhood roles of Elliot and Gertie.  Take a look at ‘ET-X: Extinction’ below to see why it’s the proper reboot to this overrated fan favorite.  You’ve always known that E.T. could shoot fireballs out of his finger tips…
