These days I’m staring to think that we can almost see an entire movie before it is released due to how studios promote flicks in this day and age of social: media, networking, and advertising. Each 2011 Summer blockbuster has had a myriad of clips, featurettes, and promos released before the movies even hit the theaters to help drum up even more excitement for them. Thor, X-Men, Green Lantern, Harry Potter, and now the Captain America film have all released enough content for their respective openings to fill a Blu-ray’s special features section.
Captain America: The First Avenger is the latest Summer movie to flood the Internet with promotional videos with 4 new clips hitting the Net within the past 2 days. These four clips focus on Steve’s character, his determination, his shield, and finally a scene of him in the iconic Captain America costume kicking Nazi a*shole. I’ve conveniently compiled them for your viewing pleasure below. Don’t forget that the actual Cap film opens on 7/22/11 here in the US. You’ve been thinking that spoiling movies is the new way to promote them…
