Life is Strange is the next big adventure game coming from Dontnod Entertainment courtesy of Square Enix. The massive publisher has very much been a driving force for the game according to the developer diary above, and were the only publisher who saw the Dontnod vision for Life is Strange. As it happens, Square Enix was fully behind the game having a female lead as opposed to other publishers who wanted a male one. It might seem like a minor change, but considering all that Life is Strange sets out to achieve revolves around a teenage girl’s life, it could well have caused major disruption to the overall outcome of the title.

Life is Strange will be taking players on a stylized time travelling journey across a wonderfully crafted world on January 30th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC for $4.99 per episode. Alternatively all 5 episodes can be purchased for just $19.99.
