Farpoint Gets May 16th PS VR Release Date and New Co-Op Modes

Impulse Gear has announced that its PS VR title, Farpoint, will be hitting the platform on May 16th. In addition to the release date reveal Impulse also announced that the game will ship with four online co-op levels, which are designed to test the might of two players versus one.

I really enjoyed this game at last year’s E3, so I’ll be picking it up, and will probably go for the PS VR Aim controller bundle, which will retail for $79.99. Even though I fear the controller won’t get support outside of Farpoint, it’s well worth the immersion level it brings to the gameplay, so I definitely recommend picking one up.

Farpoint launches May 16, 2017 in the U.S. and Canada, either bundled with the PS VR Aim controller for $79.99 USD/$99.99 CAN (MSRP) or standalone for $49.99 USD/$59.99 CAN (MSRP) in both physical and digital formats.
