Final Fantasy: Type-0 was released exclusively on PlayStation Portable way back in 2011 in Japanese markets, and much to many people’s dismay, it was never localized for release anywhere else. Critically, the game did very well with highly regarded Japanese magazine Famitsu scoring it a 39/40. So why it was never released outside of Japan remains a mystery. Nevertheless, Square Enix has heard the call of fans and so Type-0 will be coming to next generation consoles next year.

On March 17th 2015 Square Enix will be releasing Type-0 HD for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with upgraded HD graphics. Be sure to check back to Entertainment Buddha for all you need to know on all within the Final Fantasy universe.
