Square Enix dropped a surprise Final Fantasy VII Remake trailer last night during a concert for the game’s music, and the trailer officially announced the game’s release date. It will hit the PS4 first on March 3, 2020. A new graphic featuring Sephiroth has also been released, which you can see above.
The fact that the release mentioned the game hitting PS4 first, hints that it should be eventually releasing for other platforms, so that’s good news for non-PS4 console owners. At first this game was supposed to be an exclusive, but that looks like it has shifted to a timed exclusive, so that’s good news for fans of the game that may not own a PS4.
The new video footage looks fantastic, and offers up truly remastered visuals and gameplay, so head on down below to check it out.
