Square Enix has officially announced Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition for iOS, Android, and Windows 10 devices. This version of the game aims to retell the main story with a completely new visual experience for mobile. The characters are chibi-fied, meaning they have large heads and small bodies. They also are more polygonal in appearance, which is probably a result of fine tuning the experience for mobile devices.

This game will be out this fall for the aforementioned platforms. You can see it in action above. I’m not gonna lie, I kind of dig what I see and this may be a great way to experience the events of the game without syncing a ton of time into the console version. Stay tuned for more details.
