Square Enix today announced that Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will release on the PlayStation 4 this May.
Scheduled for an official release date of May 12, 2015, the PlayStation 4 port of the X/X-2 HD Remaster will include new features, including the ability to switch between the original and remastered versions of the soundtrack, as well as remote play with the Vita.
Of special note is the cross-save functionality, which will allow players to transfer their Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remasteresaves between the Vita, PS4 and PlayStation 3 versions.
The pre-order incentive for the PS4 edition of X/X-2 HD has also been announced. Those who pre-order the game from the Square Enix online store and select retailers will receive a free desktop calendar featuring the work of legendary artist, Yoshitaka Amano.
