Follow Rod Fergusson on Twitter for Massive Gears 2 XP Event

While trolling my usual sources today I came across a post from the Official Gears of War page promising another Gears of War 2 XP event during the San Diego Comic Con, which will take place next week.  Here’s the deal – Rod Ferguson, the GOW leader at EPIC, tweeted that he will implement an increased XP formula depending on how many Twitter followers he has by the time SDCC begins.

The formula goes like this – Rod will take the total number of his followers and divide it by 500, which will result in the final factor that will be used to multiply your Gears of War 2 XP.  For you Einsteins out there, if he has 4,000 followers then we would get 8X XP, 5,000 would result in 10XP, and so on and so forth.  Currently his followers are approaching 5,000, so I’m predicting we will at least get 10X XP, if not 12 X XP by the time SDCC begins.

If you have a Twitter account head on over to this link and follow Rod immediately.  You owe it to your gaming brethren!  I’m loving these regular XP events that EPIC keeps dropping on us.  It makes playing a ball-punching game fun again, and I now have hope to one day reach level 100 and grab my last 75G from the game.  God bless Gears of War 2 XP events!  You’ve been given the chance to possibly play for a ridiculous amount of XP…
