‘Fortnite’ Battle Royale Update Goes Live September 26th

As we all know, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has made waves over the past few months in the gaming community. Hitting over 10 million Steam sales and an incredibly large concurrent player base, PUBG is taking over the Battle Royale community, and it looks as if other people are trying to ride the success train that PUBG is fuelling. In just a few days, Fortnite is releasing an update called Battle Royale. What this is is a 100-player battle and the last one standing wins the match.

Sound familiar?

The interesting thing here is that you will be able to put the ol’ Fortnite spin on the game by building your own bases. You can team up with other people to hunker down, or go off on your own with your pickaxe and try to find the best loot to defend yourself with.

Check out the trailer above and watch the mayhem unfold when the update goes live September 26!
