Fortnite is Epic Games new free-to-play sandbox survival game, where players must scavenge during the day, and then survive during the night. This may seem like a familiar format to most gamers, however, it seems Fortnite will also include elements of a tower defence game, with players having the ability to set traps for the oncoming enemies.

The trailer above focuses entirely on gameplay, and showing off Epic’s new Unreal Engine 4. The gameplay trailer progresses with players scavenging, to building and fortifying, to battling hordes of monsters in an effort to defend the fort.

Fortnite is said to be released sometime later this year for Windows PC.
