Have you ever played a video game where you find yourself asking, ‘where do I know that voice from’?Racking your brain in attempts to recall where you have heard some voices can bug you for hours because you just can’t figure it out. If you are among the few that recognized the voice – congratulations – you’re part of the cool kids club.
Below, you’ll find a list of some actors that have lent their voice talent to video games. Gears of War, Mass Effect 3, and Halo 3: ODST are just a few of the games that are listed below. Keep on reading to find out which actor has made the list.
You may recognize Aisha from Friends and 24, but if you know Aisha Tyler, then you know she’s a gamer. She’s hosted the Ubisoft panel at E3 for the last two years and isn’t afraid to make her love of video games public. Aisha Tyler lent her lovely voice to Gears of War 3: RAAM’s Shadow DLC, voicing Commander Walker. Aisha is also set to appear in Watch Dogs, which comes out this November.
Nathan played Captain Malcolm Reynolds on Firefly, Joss Whedon’s cult TV hit. You may also recognize him from Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog or Slither. Nathan is known as a lover of all things geek and gaming. He voiced Buck in Halo 3: ODST. Those of you who played the game you may even recognize that Buck looks just like Nathan Fillion.
He’s mostly known for his role on 24. He played Jack Bauer, you know that guy that screamed ‘damn it’ in almost every episode. You may even recognize him from The Lost Boys. Kiefer Sutherland is a veteran actor and he will be voicing Snake in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Freddie Prinze Jr.:
Jinkies gang, Fred made the list. Freddie Prinze Jr. was in Scooby Doo and I Know What You Did Last Summer. He appeared in a slew of romantic comedies and teen movies; but that’s certainly not why he made the list. Freddie’s video game credit is his work in Mass Effect 3. He voices James Vega, who worked along side Commander Shepard to save Earth from the Reapers.
