Freddie Wong Does Splinter Cell Spoof, Fans Don’t Get it

VFX YouTube master Freddie Wong did a tongue and cheek homage to the Splinter Cell videogame that unfortunately didn’t go over well with some of his fans.  Splinter Cell: Lightbulb Assassin is an obvious parody of the ridiculousness that can come out of playing this stealth favorite.  Freddie and crew highlight just how brain dead the enemies of Splinter Cell games are in this short, and for those fans that understood what this video was about, their use of irony was perfect.

Unfortunately, you can’t please everybody, so the trolls came out in full force yesterday busting Wong’s chops for making a video that they obviously didn’t understand (just browse through the vids comments to see what I mean).  You’ve got to love the simpletons of this world!  Check the video out below to see if you’re intelligent enough to get the implied humor.  You’ve always thought shooting lightbulbs was an odd game mechanic…
