Freddie Wong’s ‘Video Game High School’ Web Series is Now Live

Rocket Jump with the help of Wong and Company has released the very first episode of their new web series called Video Game High School.  For the next 9 weeks a new episode of VGHS will air each week on the Rocket Jump website, with the episodes also eventually making it to Freddie’s YouTube channel a week later.  I find it curious that they aren’t releasing the vids simultaneously on both platforms.  This is especially odd considering that you can watch YouTube videos in couch mode on your big screen complete with a bitchin surround sound setup.

Based on the VGHS trailer below I think this web series definitely deserves to be viewed on the best equipment available, but I’m sure the Rocket Jump team has their reasons for debuting episode 1 on their site.  If anyone knows about trying to gain an audience for an unproven website it’s me, and if I had someone like Freddie on my squad I’d reserve his work exclusively for our site too.  Check out the trailer below, and if you absolutely can’t wait for the first episode to debut on YouTube you can watch it here now.

Oh and keep your eyes peeled for stuntman extraordinaire, and current member of the 300: Battle of Artemisia stunt team, @EricLinden, who just so happens to be in this series as well.  See if you can guess which scenes he appears in.  You’ve been willing to give Freddie’s first big project a try…
