Free Call of Duty: Heroes Now Available for Mobile Devices
Activision announced today that a new free-to-play Call of Duty title is ready to download for iOS and Windows 8 tablet devices.
Call of Duty: Heroes for the first time features three of the franchise’s most memorable heroes in one package. Players will be able to use Capt. Price, Soap MacTavish, and Mike Harper from the Modern Warfare and Black Ops 2 titles in a 3D combat strategy game. The concept will have them building command bases and leveling up structures, units, and even the heroes to take on other friends and players in intense skirmishes that play out on a mobile device.
At first glance Call of Duty: Heroes appears to be similar in style to Clash of Clans and Star Wars Commander, so if you’re into those style of mobile games and can play them without breaking the bank, then there’s no reason not to checkout a COD branded mobile strategy title. Besides, can you pull off high octane kill streaks in Clash of Clans? I don’t think so!
You can check out a few screenshots from Heroes below. If you like what you see you can grab it for your iOS device today! The Android version isn’t available yet, but there is one planned, so stay tuned for its release.
