Free Portal 2 DLC ‘Peer Review’ Set for 10/4 Release

Valve has finally gotten around to releasing their promised DLC for Portal 2.  On October 4, 2011, fans of the puzzle shooter can get their vile hands on Peer Review, which is a free piece of DLC that will continue the co-op mode’s story, as well as adding challenge modes to the single and multiplayer campaigns, which will have leaderboards.  Honestly, this is great news, but if you’re like me you may just now be realizing that there are way too many games to play right now, and Portal 2 may not even be on your radar at this point.

I’d love to go back to the world of Aperture Science, but when you’ve got must-play titles like Rage, Batman, Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, Uncharted 3, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, and many others, the thought of picking up a game from last Spring just doesn’t sound appealing.  F*ck!  Who ever would think that having too many triple-A titles to play would be this stressful!  I guess it’s better than having mouth herpes!  You’ve been thinking that this Portal 2 DLC may go by the wayside…
