Game of Thrones Season 7 Confirmed To Have 7 Episodes and Summer 2017 Debut

HBO put out a press release just now to officially confirm the amount of episodes in Game of Thrones seventh season, as well as when fans can expect the show’s return in 2017.

Production is beginning now for the seventh season, and because winter has officially arrived in Westeros the production will run longer than before because it will need a few of its shooting locations to literally chill out. The season was also confirmed to only have seven episodes, and it will debut during the Summer 2017, which is a few months later than the show’s usual Spring debut.

Bummer! Oh well, all good things come to those who wait right? Stay tuned for more Game of Thrones news as it rolls out over the next few months.
