If you’re a Nintendo fan and live in the NYC area, then you’ll be happy to hear that you’ll have a chance to get your hands on some of the Japanese game makers latest games, one day early. On November 21, 2013 gamers can head to Nintendo World in the Rockefeller Plaza to get in line to purchase Super Mario 3D World for Wii U, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Mario Party: Island Tour for the 3DS. Starting at 8pm EST those waiting in line at the event will have a chance to buy each of the games one day before they come out. Copies will be limited, so if you have to have Nintendo’s latest Zelda and/or Mario games one day early, you better plan on standing in line much earlier than 8pm.
Nintendo will have activities going on to keep you entertained, most notably Chirs Carlson who will be on site to reveal an epic chalk art piece showcasing imagery from The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. The Nintendo cosplay crew will be out in full force as well. The full details about this release event can be found below. Each of the games offered will indeed be available on the eShop and in stores on the 22nd, but why not try to get some extra time in by attending this event (if feasible)?
