Gaming Roundup: Witcher GOTY Edition, NBA Live Mobile, New Games on EA Access, and More
Let’s get to it gamers, it’s time for the gaming roundup here at EB HQ. There are a few worthy new items to check out, so head on down below to get learned. In gaming news at least.
First up, CD Projekt Red confirmed to Polygon that it does have plans for a Game of the Year Edition for The Witcher 3, which will come loaded with all of the game’s DLC and updates since the original version released in 2015. Although, there isn’t a release date yet for this version of the game, so you’ll have to stay tuned for that.
EA also revealed two titles headed to the EA Access Vault, which are Unraveled and Need for Speed. They’ll be available on the service on July 12th.
EA was busy today, because it also announced that UFC 2 can be downloaded as a full free game trial this week in honor of UFC 200. It should be available on the Xbox One and PS4 today.
Altus revealed the street date for Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse, which will be September 20th in the States. A new trailer was released to coincide with the street date reveal, which you can watch below.
2K released another faction trailer for Civ 6, and this one focuses on the Egyptians. Head on down below to see what they’re all about.
Ubisoft also got into the free game movement today as it announced that players who can beat Trials of the Blood Dragon demo with less than 15 faults will get the full game for free on PC. A new trailer for it was also released, which you can watch below.
Finally, SMITE’s mid season patch is going out today for PC, which among other things adds a new god called Erlang Shen The Illustrious Sage. He can be seen in a new trailer below. The full patch notes can be read on the official SMITE website.
