Garden State Comic Fest Is a Con Worth Attending

Nothing beats a good ol’ fashioned comic book centered convention, especially the ones that focus more on the creators and what they create. The Garden State Comic Fest is one such con and after attending two years in a row, but for only one day, I’ve decided next year I will try and attend both days. Organizers Dave O’Hare and Sal Zurzolo have put together a fantastic family friendly event that brings in some of the biggest names in the industry. Such as Kevin Eastman, Jim Steranko, Greg Hildebrandt, Walt & Louise Simonson, and Larry Hama to name just a few. Not to mention more comics, collectibles and goodies than you can shake a stick at! If you live in the New Jersey or New York area and you have not attended the Garden State Comic Fest before, I encourage you to check it out next year. Below are a few pics from my day there on Sunday.
