Gears 3 Gets Gnashty Playlist and Thrashball Drone Skin

The Gears 3 weekend playlist for this week should get fans of the gnasher quite excited. If you play matches in the Gnashty playlist from now until Monday morning you can experience a game type that only allows you to use your shotgun and pistol, but the pistol only has one mega bullet. I must say that I’m impressed with the commitment that Epic is showing in regards to breathing life into Gears of War 3′s multiplayer matches. I’m a big fan of these Gears Weekend playlists, so I hope they keep coming on a regular basis, or at least until I get my War Supporter cheve.

In addition to the Gnashty playlist Epic is also making the Thrashball Drone skin available to use for a limited time in celebration of the Super Bowl. As you can see from the image above the Trashball Drone is the Thrashball Cole equivalent for the Locust horde. You can also see the Thrashball drone in action via a gameplay video that is embedded after the break.
