[UPDATE] For the first time since its release back in September Gears of War 3 has hit a technical snag that is causing its first bit of DLC content to be delayed. The Horde Command Pack was supposed to be unleashed on the Gearsverse today, but due to some technical issues Epic has been unable to push the DLC out to the XBL Market. In a statement on the Gears 3 forum Epic technical support is claiming that they came across and issue with the Horde Command Pack last week, but they still haven’t corrected it, which has resulted in the DLC being delayed. For now you’ll just have to stay vigilant and monitor your social networking feeds to see when Epic can get this sh*t storm cleaned up. For Epic’s official statement on the matter head on down past the break. You’ve just been talking about how stable Gears of War 3 has been…
[UPDATE] As of 3PM EST the Horde Command Pack should be available. You may need to restart your Xbox to see it.
“We are sorry to have to report today that the scheduled release of the first DLC for “Gears of War 3”, the Horde Command Pack has been delayed. We experienced a technical issue late last week during some of our final testing, and were unable to resolve the problem today to ensure a timely release. No one is more disappointed than ourselves over this unexpected development. We are working as fast as we can to identify the issue and get the package out to all of our fans. We will get the content live the minute we have confirmed a fix and let everyone know that it is ready to go.
