Gears 3 Horde Mode Split Screen Glitch being Addressed, not Fixed

Some Gears of War 3 players have had their fun tarnished with Epic’s new masterpiece due to a confirmed bug in regards to playing Horde 2.0 in split screen mode, in which one player’s profile will get corrupted due to the game freezing.  This is a ball punchingly bad glitch because it’ll completely bunk up one of the two player’s profiles trying to play Horde in split screen mode because the game freezes while it loads.  After the player’s profile has been f*cked with they can no longer play in any other game modes.  Essentially, their Gears 3 profile gets corrupted, and once this has happens they can no longer play the game.

Epic is aware of the issue, but they need our help to identify it.  You can fill out this form to try and help nail the issue down, but for now I’d stay away from playing Gears of War 3 Horde 2.0 mode via a split screen setup.  This bug is all too familiar to the profile wiping glitch found in Gears 2, which yours truly had the honor of experiencing.  Trust me, bugs like this are inexcusable, but they happen, so DON’T PLAY GEARS OF WAR 3 HORDE MODE WHILE IN SPLITSCREEN WITH ANOTHER PLAYER!  You’ve been thinking that having XBL is a much better way to play Gears 3 Horde than local split screen…
