Gears of War fans prepare to get the chills, because that’s exactly what happened to me while I watched the opening cinematic for Gears of War 3. Anya Stroud narrates the clip and catches us up on the current state of affairs on the planet Sera. This scene definitely serves as a mini “story so far” vignette, as well as a setup for the action to come in Gears 3. We also get to see Anya’s transition from office b*tch to COG b*tch as she prepares to leave land and head out to sea with a band of survivors.
