As if impatiently waiting for Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Halo 5 was not enough, the Sergio Mimica-Gezzan directed mini-series Halo: Nightfall has just been given a first look trailer. Shown at Comic Con last Thursday, Halo: Nightfall is set between the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5. The series will be premiering on Xbox One and Showtime this November, as well as being included with copies of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

The series shall be having its episodes released on a weekly basis once it has launched. Halo: Nightfall also has producer Ridley Scott on board, in his first foray into the wonderful world of video games. With his input, Halo: Nightfall could well turn out to be something truly spectacular. Sergio is also no stranger to AAA sci-fi film projects, with him having helped in directing the successful Falling Skies and Heroes TV series. With this experience, Nightfall has a chance to really shine with the right amount of work put in.

We will be staying close to Halo: Nightfall, so expect to hear more from us on the series, as and when more information becomes available.
