Go Behind the Scenes with this ‘Back to the Future’ Documentary

Not only is Back to the Future being re-released in theaters to celebrate its 30th anniversary, but along with it comes a documentary about the classic time-travel film. Courtesy of Gravitas Ventures, Back in Time will have interviews with director Robert Zemeckis, producer Steven Spielberg, screenwriter Bob Gale, and actors Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson, and Christopher Lloyd.

The documentary will also feature the pop culture that has been built around the trilogy, as well as the making of the original film. There’s also appearances from musician Huey Lewis, James Tolkan (Principal Strickland), and Claudia Wells (Marty’s girlfriend, Jennifer), and a deeper exploration into the mystical hoverboard.

Back in Time will be in select theaters on October 21, 2015, the same date Marty finds himself in the future in BttF II where the Cubbies finally win the World Series. It will also be available on VOD, DVD, and Blu-ray on the same day, so make sure your clock are set right and skitch your way to the closest location and pick up a copy.
