Well the past couple days have been great when it comes to Pokemon news haven’t they? Lets start from the top with the games that have been rumored the past couple weeks even, Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu! and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee! These two games are the first big Pokemon titles arriving on the Nintendo Switch, and they are coming this November. These titles will integrate the hit mobile game, Pokemon Go! in a few different ways like transferring Pokemon caught to the Switch titles. The trailer for these games, which you can view above, boasts one-handed controls and even drop-in, drop-out co-op play, a first for the franchise. Though these aren’t what you would consider, “core,” Pokemon adventures, they still look like they are going to be tons of fun!

Along with this new game comes a new accessory that I’m sure will sell out faster than you can say, Gotta Catch Em’ All! The PokeBall Plus accessory allows you to take your captured Pokemon with you anywhere you go. This new controller also doubles as a controller for the game itself, allowing you to really feel like a Pokemon master. I can’t wait to see someone beat Dark Souls Remastered on their Switch with this controller. As well as this, Nintendo released a game called Pokemon Quest. This one is labeled as a free-to-start action-adventure game for the Nintendo Switch. This one is nothing like the original games, letting you decorate your base camp, cook up tasty dishes and even befriend more Pokemon, though not in the traditional sense. The best thing out of all of this Poke news is the fact that Game Freak is developing the next core RPG in the franchise for the Switch which is due out next year. Which of these announcements are you most excited for? Let us know!
