A first-person mode for Grand Theft Auto V has been circling the rumor mill for quite some time, and now it would appear the rumors were true. The re-release of Grand Theft Auto V for next gen consoles and PC is set to have a first-person mode. This is no cheap cash in where the camera zooms in, oh no. Rockstar has gone the full mile and created a massive load of new animations for the mode.

The trailer shown above looks like an entirely new game, and will very likely play like one. Rockstar was unable to release GTAV the first time with a first-person perspective due to technical restraints, but thanks to the power of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, these restraints are no more. Expect more details to trickle in for Rockstar’s mammoth game over the coming weeks.

Grand Theft Auto V comes out November 18th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with PC player having to wait until January 2015 to step foot in the wonderful world of Los Santos.
