Activision and FreeStyleGames unveiled new information regarding the upcoming release of Guitar Hero Live, the first Guitar Hero game since 2010. In the trailer above, GHL reminds fans of its real audience feel, but focuses more on the GHTV aspect, which allows players to blend into the music video for whatever song they’re playing. GHTV is available 24 hours a day, and is continually updated with music videos across a wide span of genres both new and old.

Guitar Hero Live is scheduled for an October 20th release for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, and select mobile devices to be announced shortly, and will retail with a new guitar controller for $99.99.
